End Legalized Fraud. I wrote The Money Suckers for exactly that purpose: to introduce the phrase “End Legalized Fraud” into the public's consciousness and to change the debate regarding the financial crisis. That's one of the big reason's I decided to make it available as a free e-book online.

So far, the big government and monetary system supporters have had everything their way since the crisis became headline news in September and October 2008. I think it's about time the public hears the other side of the story. The big difficulty, of course, is the issue itself. Just begin talking about monetary policy, fractional reserve banking, or budget deficits, and the eyes of most people begin to glaze over. Yet, on the other hand, they're interested, more interested than ever before, because for the first time in years they realize that it affects them directly and personally. It's a quandary. How can we successfully educate the people about the true nature of the crisis when so many find the issue so difficult to understand?

I think we need to change the message to something easier to understand. So I took a good, hard look at the issue, searching for a way to express the problem in terms that anyone can understand. What I found was the concept of fraud. Those of us who understand the nature of the current, corrupt system know almost instinctively that fraud lies at the root of the entire system, so we don't give it another thought. I argue that we should emphasize the specific, legalized forms of fraud in the system, because everyone opposes fraud. This is how we can win most of America over to our side.

I test this concept day-to-day by explaining the three forms of legalized fraud listed in the novel to average people I meet and know in my life. The results so far are very, very encouraging. Everyone I explain these concepts to in person is drawn to them, and every one of them wants to read my novel.
