The characters, organizations, and story presented in the following novel are fictional. Any similarity to real people is coincidental. Some of the story's elements have been drawn from real-life events, but they are presented and organized in a fictional manner.

Banking and monetary theory as presented in the novel is based on the real, factual nature of our current fiat monetary system. Also, the events of the current financial crisis, as it became obvious to everyone in late 2008, serve as the setting for the events in the novel.

This novel is dedicated to the millions of people in America (and around the world) who suspect that they haven't been told the real reasons why our economy suffers from the current chaos. They're right. If people learn what really caused the current crisis, I believe they will demand changes in the system–not cosmetic regulatory changes, but real, sweeping, systemic changes.
