End Legalized Fraud and Debt-Based Money

I like silver (and gold)

Last February, I made my first and only investment recommendation: silver. So far, it's been going very well. I bought when the price of silver was around $13 an ounce. Today, 10 months later, it's selling for around $19 an ounce.

Federal Reserve double-talk, coming to a theater near you

The Associated Press is reporting today that the Federal Reserve is running ads in movie theaters urging consumers to pay their credit card bills on time. Apparently, this is their latest idea for insuring that you and I continue to bail out the biggest banks and protect them from the consequences of engaging in legalized fraud.

Help End Legalized Fraud: Share the E-book

End Legalized Fraud. I wrote The Money Suckers for exactly that purpose: to introduce the phrase “End Legalized Fraud” into the public's consciousness and to change the debate regarding the financial crisis. That's one of the big reason's I decided to make it available as a free e-book online.

The Message

Non-fiction books about the monetary system and banking rarely sell well. Most people don't read them. Focusing on the perils of fractional reserve banking has never successfully reached Mr. and Mrs. Average American. Fractional reserve banking has so much complexity and inscrutability that the average person just gives up.

I took a different approach. I decided not to emphasize fractional reserve banking at all. Instead I broke the whole issue down to two, very simple concepts:

About The Financial Concepts In The Book

Some people will wonder why I decided to write this book as fiction rather than non-fiction. Here's why. If you say something that is the absolute, unvarnished truth, but it goes against what society considers to be common knowledge, people won't believe you, and they probably won't even listen to you. But take the exact same information, package it as fiction, don't claim it to be the absolute, unvarnished truth, and people will accept it much more easily.

Marketing Plan

Marketing any book is hard work and takes more effort than even writing or publishing the book requires. Getting into the major bookstores is extremely difficult and unlikely to happen at all out of the gate for a book not published and pushed hard by a major publisher. Add in the hard cold numbers of publishing. A new book by any publisher, including the major publishers, sells 400 copies on average. Yup, you read that right... 400 copies. Vanity presses and self-publishers average around 100-200 copies for a released book.
